APIYO NANCY grew up in Gulu Town and was born to parents who were much older than most parents. They were separated when she was young. As the tenth child in the family, she was fortunate to go to school until P6 before the school fees were no longer available. In 2015 she went to live with her sister for a short time before she was married. She now has 3 children and has worked for Life Beads for 9 years. She is proud that her job at Life Beads allows her to meet the basic needs of food and clothing for her children named Genesis, Gifty, and Gideon.
