ANGOM EVELYN was born in Kinene in 1974, one of seven children. She was never able to attend school. She married and gave birth to four children before they left for Cwero IDP Camp in 2003. She gave birth to one child while in the camp and three since leaving the camp in 2006. Three of her children have died from malaria—one at age 2 months, one at 1 year and one at 2 weeks. She is working to provide school fees for her children and has become a Christ-follower since joining the jewelry program at Abaana’s Hope.
100% of the admin overhead for general operations are covered by income from our thrift stores and general fund donations.
