Acen Santa

ACEN SANTA grew up as the third out of twelve children. Her mother gave birth to a total of 15 children in her life, but many passed away as babies. All the children have passed away now except for Santa and one sister. She was13 when her mother also passed away and her father brought in another wife. Sadly, the stepmother did not seem to love Santa or her siblings and asked them not to be close to home. Anytime they would get close to their father there would be fighting within the new marriage, so Santa and the living children were asked to leave and live on their own. Now Santa has worked at Life Beads for 9 years and has 9 children of her own from different husbands. One husband passed away and others have left for different reasons. Her current husband isn’t active in the marriage due to the stigma associated with their youngest child. It is hard for Santa to live without much help with her children and husbands who have come and gone. She often thinks about her mother and how she wishes she were alive to also help her. Her last born is a precious girl named Cynthia. Cynthia is disabled with a heart and other problems. She requires help more frequently and better hospitals when she is sick because she often needs to be put on oxygen. Santa has recently felt more encouraged as Cynthia has seemed to become stronger in the last year. She fully believes that God knows the reasons why He has given her a child with special needs and such a hard life. She is thankful to God for her older children who help with Cynthia and are a great help to her around the home. She has seen God do a great thing in her 9 years at Life Beads and is thankful for the ministry and the community it has made around her. She would like anyone who buys her jewelry to pray for Cynthia and for Cynthia's father that God would change his heart for his daughter.
