Amony Pamela

Amony Pamela was born on February 14th, 1988 in Gulu Town. She grew up with her parents until the age of 14 when she lost her mother. Just one year later she lost her father as well. She and her 4 siblings ended up living with their grandmother. She is the 3rd of the family with 3 brothers and 1 sister. Pam studied until Senior 6 and was enrolled at the institution afterwards, but the money became hard, and she was unable to finish with her trade. Pam married her husband in 2011. They welcomed their first son on December 19, 2011, and their Second child November 15, 2013. Pam joined Life Beads on February 9, 2015, as the Acholi Director. She began working alongside Kimmey at that time and helping her with translation and learning how everything is done. Pam is at Abaana’s Hope during the week but her family lives in Gulu. She returns on the weekends to be with them. Her children join her in the Abaana’s Hope area when they are on school breaks. The best thing she’s gotten from this ministry is the consistent Word of God. She is so happy to be one of the ladies in the leadership discipleship group she meets with. She is thankful to sit and listen to the other ladies of Life Beads as they share their needs and encouragement and that she is able to pray and share with them. She loves the job and atmosphere so much. Pam sees it as meaningful and encouraging work.
