Four Corners facilitates short-term mission trips from the United States to South Sudan and Uganda to spread the unconditional love of Christ and to expose people to the work God is doing through the ministry (Matthew 28:19).

Four Corners trips focus in five specific areas: evangelism, family ministry, education, medical assistance and sustainable relief. Serving on a trip with Four Corners will make an eternal impact in the lives of team members, as well as those who invest in individuals to go. It’s our goal to provide team members with an experience that enriches and challenges them spiritually, exposes them to the work that God is doing through our partners in South Sudan and Uganda, allows them to build relationships with the nationals, and is safe and secure, while also stretching their comfort zone. You can find information about the trips to Uganda and South Sudan on the sidebar, as well as the application you must complete to go on one of our trips. If you have any other questions about going on one of our service trips, please contact Rachel Sprayberry at info@fourcorners.org.

To register for a trip, team members will need to complete the “Team Member Application Form” and return them to 715 Avenue A, Suite 206, Opelika, AL 36801 with their deposit of $200.

Each team member is required to submit a $200.00 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit fee and the Waiver of Liability form to secure a spot on a team. All checks should be made payable to Four Corners Ministries and mailed to 715 Avenue A, Suite 206, Opelika, AL 36801. We would like to request that half of your trip fees are paid at least 60 days prior to departure with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to departure. A position on the team cannot be held until the Waiver and the deposit are received.

Cancellation Policy: In the case that you have to cancel your trip due to unforeseen circumstances, you are responsible for the cost of your flight after it is booked. Gifts specified for the trip of a particular participant may be carried forward for a future trip at the discretion of the ministry.

What does a Four Corners trip look like?

After arriving in Uganda, you will spend one night in Entebbe. The next morning you will either drive or fly to Gulu, Uganda, the home of Abaana’s Hope. The ministries performed will depend on the skill set of the group. The work can include a children ministries, evangelism and prayer walking, discipleship training for men and women, as well as training Ugandans in sustainable lifestyle skills. Everything that is done at Abaana’s Hope is relationship focused. The group will perform most days of ministry on site at Abaana’s Hope but may spend a few days working in and around Gulu.

Where will I stay?

You will stay in a safe and comfortable hotel/guesthouse in Entebbe and in a nice guest house in Gulu. Each day you will be served three meals; it is possible that you will also experience a few traditional African meals.

What do the people think about us coming?

Many of the people you will be working with have been waiting for your arrival for months. They are excited and amazed that you would come all the way from America to help empower the work that God is already doing through their lives.

Will I get sick from the food or water?

The food prepared by our hosts is completely safe. Of course, we cannot ensure that you will not contract a food-borne illness while serving in Uganda. We recommend that you bring over the- counter medicine with you. You may also talk to your physician about a prescription antibiotic.

Do I need a passport?

Yes! Please go to http://travel.state.gov/ for more information regarding passports. Your passport must have at least 2 blank pages and be valid six months past your departure date from the country you are visiting. Please make copies of your passport to leave at home with family and/or friends as a reference in the event you misplace your passport during your trip.

Do I need a visa?

For travel to Uganda you will not need a visa. However, included in the cost of your trip is an airport entrance fee that is attached to each passenger arriving in Uganda.

How long does it take to get to Africa?

Four Corners trips to Uganda arrive in Entebbe, Uganda. The average flight to Entebbe is 16 hours from Atlanta, Georgia. The drive from Entebbe to Gulu is between 6-8 hours.

How many bags can I pack?

Baggage requirements vary by airline and intra-Africa flights. The current standards for KLM Airlines and Delta Airlines are 50 lbs. per checked bag. You are limited to two checked bags.

Can I use my frequent flyer miles to pay for my flight?

To use your own Frequent Flyer miles, you would need to arrange your own flights. It would be vital that your flight arrangements coincide with Four Corners flights. (Please see answer below “Can I arrive early or stay later?” for clear understanding of your responsibilities if you arrange your own flights).

Can I earn Frequent Flyer miles on my FCM flights?

To log frequent flyer miles you will need to provide your number to the ticket agent at the time of check in at the airport.

Can I arrive early or stay later?

Yes, but you will need to make your own travel arrangements and you are required to confirm them with Four Corners by emailing info@fourcorners.org. You will also be responsible for meeting the group at the airport or hotel in Entebbe. If you arrange your own air travel, Four Corners will not be responsible for connecting you with the group; this will be your responsibility.

Do I need shots?

Check with your doctor, health department, or visit www.cdc.gov to see what shots are recommended for Uganda. If you have any questions or concerns contact Four Corners.
