LAMWAKA OLIVER was born in Pece in 1991, one of eleven children. One brother and a sister were captured by the Rebels, but the sister was returned after 2 weeks. The brother was injured during a crossfire and was able to escape and return to their home. The family moved to Unyama IDP Camp for the remainder of the war and Oliva was able to attend school to P6. She became a Christ-follower in 2006. She met Joshua while living in Unyama and they married. They stayed at the camp until 2007 then returned to his family land in Kinene where he farmed. She said she turned away from the Lord but in 2009, recommitted her life. She has given birth to two little girls and a baby boy.
