Tommy Cummings – Opelika, Alabama
Chairman of the Board
Tommy Cummings is a life-long resident of Opelika, Alabama. He is a 1991 graduate of Opelika High School and a 1996 graduate of Auburn University. He has been a banker in the Opelika-Auburn area for 20 years and is currently a senior vice president and commercial loan officer with National Bank of Commerce. Tommy became aware of the work of Four Corners Ministries several years ago, but has been actively involved after traveling to South Sudan with the Four Corners medical mission team in November 2010. He and Rebecca were changed by the trip. Their hearts were broken by the physical need of the people, yet so encouraged by the joy and faith the people have in their Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Tommy and Rebecca are active members of First Baptist Church Opelika.
Yancy Carpenter – Auburn, Alabama
Vice-Chairman of the Board
Yancy Carpenter was named Vice-President of Four Corners in 2011. Before joining Four Corners’ leadership team, Yancy has traveled to several countries in Central America, in addition to spending time in Africa. Yancy began his professional career with Sysco Food Services in 1998 before being promoted as District Sales Manager for Auburn, Alabama in 2004. Currently, Yancy serves as Business Development Manager for Sysco, overseeing two major districts in Alabama. As vice-president of Four Corners, Yancy is responsible for communicating Four Corners’ vision and strategy to donors, church leaders, and potential supporters. Yancy has a burden for the people of South Sudan and Uganda. His desire to share the Gospel and story of the persecuted church encourages and challenges many.
Michael Dilworth – Auburn, AL
Owner of Dilworth Development
Dilworth Development was established in 1999 by Michael Dilworth, an Auburn University Building Science Graduate. Michael works with a quickly-growing staff to build over 25 custom homes per year. Based on the desire to be “The Builder of Choice”, Michael recognizes the value of a reputation of excellence. Multiple homeowners would agree that Michael Dilworth has a unique ability to listen intensely to his customer and create a keen sense of understanding a client’s needs and desires. Michael’s success as a residential-and-commercial builder is proven, and his extraordinary skills and style are unmatched. Dilworth Development is a business based on a foundation of upstanding morals and a desire to stay aboveboard and up to date with an innovative style that will remain timeless. Michael became active in Four Corners in 2011 in response to the Abaana’s Hope Capital Campaign. Since that time, he has traveled to Uganda and has helped steer the ministry in the development and construction of Abaana’s Hope. Michael and his wife Brooke, live in Auburn, Alabama and are blessed with two children.
Matt Haines, D.Min. – Alexander City, Alabama
Pastor at Sixth Street Baptist Church, Alexander City, AL
In 2009, Matt was called to serve as Pastor at Sixth Street Baptist Church. Shortly after that, God began to develop a relationship between FCM and Sixth Street that has resulted in several church-sponsored trips to Uganda, with Matt going in 2014 and 2016. He has participated in mission trips in Uganda, Dominican Republic, Mexico, and Honduras. Matt’s passion is to lead God’s people to be gospel-centered, biblically-faithful, and missionally-driven disciples of Jesus Christ.
Matt is married to Alison and they have four sons, Nathan, Andrew, John David, and Josh. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Mississippi State University as well as Masters of Divinity and Doctor of Ministry degrees from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to his pastoral duties, he writes about the church and the gospel from time to time on his blog at matthaines.net.
Harold Harmon – Wedowee, Alabama
When Harold Harmon joined Four Corners Board of Directors he brought with him almost a decade of mission efforts in Central and South America. Today, he serves as the Chairman of Four Corners capital campaign Building Hope, Adopting Life to benefit the vision of Abaana’s Hope, a comprehensive children’s village that will be built in Uganda. Harold graduated from Auburn University’s School of Pharmacy in 1969. He is the retired owner of H&M Drugs and Ava Hills Assisted Living Home. Harold has spent a lifetime helping to meet the medical needs of folks in East Alabama. Because of his love for people around the world, Harold was recently awarded the Ken Wurster Community Leadership Award by Cardinal Health, as well as the Distinguished Service Award by Auburn University’s School of Pharmacy. Harold and his wife, Delores, attend Ava United Methodist Church in Wedowee, Alabama. In between traveling to Africa, they enjoy raising cattle and spending time with their five grandchildren.
Reuben Moyana – Smiths Station, Alabama
Dentist in the East Alabama Area
Originally born in Harare, Zimbabwe, Reuben came to study at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in March of 1997. At UAB, Reuben, obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Sciences and Mathematics. He also earned his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in 2004. There, he also met his wife, Edith, a veterinarian who currently stays at home with their two daughters, Joy and Jaida. Reuben has been practicing dentistry in Alabama since 2004.
Reuben has a passion for taking dentistry and the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of earth for the glory of God. He has been on mission trips to Guatemala, India, South Sudan, and Uganda. He has had the privilege to serve with four corners on mission trips to South Sudan and Uganda. He considers it a great honor and privilege to serve Jesus Christ as a board member with FCM. Reuben and Edith are members at Crosspointe Church in Columbus, Georgia.
Jimmy Sprayberry – Frogeye, Alabama
Pastor at Mountain Springs Baptist Church | Ministry Founder
Give Praise to the Lord!!! In January 2001 God said to Jimmy, “Today I want you to follow me. I want you to come first because it is easier for others to come if they have someone else to follow. After today I want YOU to follow Me wherever I lead even if no one else follows.” Jimmy responded to that call. Through a few simple acts of obedience, God gave birth to Four Corners Ministries in 2004.
Jimmy has been serving the Lord as pastor of Mountain Springs Baptist Church in Frogeye, Alabama for the past 5 years. Also, he serves as director of maintenance at Soles 4 Souls and as a school bus driver for Wadley High School where his wife Sherry works as an elementary school teacher. God blessed them with two sons Lee and Drew. Lee waits for them in heaven, and Drew is currently serving the Lord in Waldey, Alabama.
John Triplett – Atlanta, GA
Retired Vice-President of Operations with Kraft Foods
John Triplett is a retired vice president of Kraft Foods. He and his wife Robbie live in Wedowee, Alabama and have two grown daughters and just became grandparents for the first time. He is a graduate of Mississippi State and served in the U.S. Army. After reading “The Radical”, John made his first oversees mission trip to South Sudan in 2010 with a Four Corners medical team, and has been forever impacted by what he has seen and experienced there and in Uganda. He and Robbie have made several trips to Africa since and have also traveled to other parts of the world sharing the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Their desire is to see churches built, people discipled, and the Word preached to give hope to the hopeless, and help to those who are unable to help themselves.
Royce Watkins – Birmingham, AL
President and CEO of Cebert Pharmaceuticals,Inc.
Royce Watkins and his wife, Sandra, began serving as full-time missionaries with Four Corners Ministries in September 2012. Royce served in the role of Chief Operations Officer of Uganda at Abaana’s Hope, working with the FCM missionaries, focusing on developing infrastructure, sustainable life skills, evangelism and discipleship. In May 2014, Royce began serving as President of Four Corners Ministries and continued in that role until July 2016.
Royce received a BBA degree from Texas A&M-Commerce in Human Resources Management and served in various managerial positions in the pharmaceutical industry. Though semi-retired, he still serves as the Chairman and CEO of Cebert Pharmaceuticals, which he founded in 1997. Royce and Sandra have a passion for making disciples of all nations, having gone on trips to several countries in Africa, Central Asia and South America.
Paul Wilson – Wadley, Alabama
Foster Parent for WinShape Foundation | Ministry Founder
Paul Wilson has devoted his life to children. Upon graduating from Southern Theological Seminary, Paul entered full-time ministry as a student minister in South Carolina and then in Tennessee. Five years later, Paul and his wife Christy, accepted a position to become full-time foster parents through the WinShape Foundation, a non-profit organization founded by Chick-fil-A owner Truett Cathy. Through its WinShape Homes division, the foundation provides a loving, stable family environment to children who are in need. Paul also has a heart for the children of Africa. As a founding board member, Paul has been instrumental in sharing the Four Corners story with supporters around the world.
